The ATM LAN Emulation Client Support software requires approximately 0.1 megabytes of disk space.
After the ATM LAN Emulation Client Support package has been installed, at least one ATM LANE Client must be added to the system to communicate over an ATM network using the ATM Forum LANE protocol. A user with root authority can add ethernet or token-ring clients using the smit atmle_panel fast path. Additionally, a Multi-Protocol Over ATM (MPOA) client can be added to the system. This enables shortcut VCCs for the LANE clients. This MPOA Client can be added using the smit mpoa_panel fast path.
