Chapter 8. Performing Depth-Cueing

Depth-cueing makes an image appear 3-D by drawing those points brighter that are nearer to the viewer. In depth-cue mode, the intensities of all the polygons, lines, and points drawn to the screen vary according to their z values. Depth-cue mode is invoked by the depthcue subroutine.
