The following information gives a comprehensive description of the file format of the 7318 configuration file.
Upon power-up, the 7318 sends a request to the network for a download host from which to transfer a download image and a configuration file. The first host that has the software responds by downloading a binary image. A configuration file may also be downloaded after the functional load image. The following information describes how to control the download operation and how to modify the configuration file.
Note: The S20 configuration file defines how the 7318 acts upon startup. However, subsequent commands given from a host computer can change the 7318 configuration. Therefore, do not assume that the configuration file settings are permanent.
