Displays the current sockets' status and defined PCMCIA devices.
pcmciastat -p busNumber [ -w socketNumber ]
The pcmciastat command displays the current sockets' status and defined PCMCIA devices in the Object Data Manager (ODM) database.
You may insert or remove the PCMCIA card while the system is running and it will automatically configure itself. You can also use the Web-based System Manager Devices application (wsm devices fast path) to configure or unconfigure the card or use SMIT or the mkdev or rmdev command.
-p busNumber | Specifies the PCMCIA BUS device in configured state in ODM identified by busNumber. This flag is required. |
-w socketNumber | Specifies the socket to display status for. |
To display the current sockets' status and defined PCMCIA devices for PCMCIA BUS bus2, enter:
pcmciastat -p bus2
/usr/sbin/pcmciastat | Contains the pcmciastat command. |
